Diego Ize Cedillo
Volunteer Coordinator
Diego Ize-Cedillo is a first-generation American. The son of Mexican parents, he is passionate about his bi-cultural background and has actively worked to create more inclusive spaces.
Having lead high school initiatives celebrating Hispanic and LatinX identities and contributed to shaping his school into a more inclusive environment as a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Student Leader, Diego is excited to take his work to the next level as a Political Science student at the University of Utah where he seeks to contribute his ideas and experiences to create a society in which all voices are heard, respected and celebrated with the understanding that our unique perspectives help to create more robust solutions to universal and systemic issues.
